Anyone shed any light on what could be in my box??


Definitely a gear set, possibly a stock FD as your 2nd gear seems to run out at about 60mph, can't see for sure though due to camera shake.

It seems to run out slightly earlier than std, will know for sure when 55 tyres go back on, thanks Kozy.
 
Nobody ever changes 2nd gear as the Honda stock ratio is good enough and doubt 1st is changed either.. So I'm going with aftermarket final drive and 3-4-5 gears..
 
Nobody changes 2nd because it's part of the mainshaft, which is seriously expensive to replace. The same goes with 1st, except you can change it [islightly[/i].
 
Hmm so I may change just 5th gear to a slightly longer one in that case.
 
3rd to 4th the needle barely dropped lol.
What rev limit you got?
 
It sounds like it has a Spoon or OS Giken 3rd and 4th, my dads DC2 has a spoon 3rd and 4th gear, but stock 5th, does about 108 in 4th but still hit's the limiter in 5th, but 5th gear definitely feel's near stock, I've been on the motorway a few time's and can remain out of vtec to around 80ish IIRC, it's almost as is 5th was designed as a cruising gear until lol.

UKDM clocks say its doing 150+ limiting in 5th on track..

lol with 4750 VTEC its bang on 80 it goes on VTEC!
 
I know for a fact the Gps top speed is over 130 now..
