Is the ek9 and integra dc2 rear arb the same? will they fit to an ek4?

An ek9 rear arb will be a direct fit onto an ek4. Not sure about the dc2 but think it may be longer, don't think it's a direct fit to an ek.

I think the EK9 ARB is only £119 brand new from Honda if your struggling to find one.

You will also need a asr brace or a tie bar to fit the 22m ek9 arb or it will brake off as ek4 arb is only 15m .

what about the front? is the ek4 same or diferent compared to ek9 and would that need a brace?

also when installing an ek9 arb do you need to pre-load it? I saw this video by Michael Flare who says you should pre-load the wheels.

I believe that the front arb is the same size on the EK4 as on the EK9 (26mm), though someone correct me if I'm wrong as we only have the EM1 in the US. Also, the front bars don't require any bracing.

Yes, the suspension should always be preloaded when tightening any suspension bolts. Get the car up on ramps or use a jack and jack stands as in the video.

The EK9 D bracket is a lot bigger so it won't be a direct bolt on since the holes don't line up. The EK4 D bracket won't hold 22mm ek9's ARB because it's smaller and it has another bracket where the ek4 ARB is bolted on the bracket before it's bolted on the chassis.

The EK9 ARB with D bracket has to be attached on a subframe for EK4 to install EK9 ARB like many have pointed out above.
