B series into ek - Mount trouble!

So im putting a b18c4 with lsd box into my pre face Ek hatch. (Originally a 1.5). Everythings been done except im having trouble with the rear engine mount. Its a b16a2 head as well (Doubt that makes a difference)

Ive tried using the mb6 mount with no luck and also tried an ek4 and ek9 one, again woth no luck. Been advised to change to an eg subframe and run the mb6 mount. But before i do that i was wondering if anyone knows of a similar swap and what mount was used.

an ek9 rear l bracket or vti will work, you must have just been sold/givinig a ej9/ek3 mount as they almost look the same
 
if you have the mb6 donor car you can use the mb6 subframe aswell and that means you can just use the mb6 mount
 
No mb6 donor car! Just what was supplised with the engine + box. Mb6 subframe or eg subframe seems to be the solution im being told.

@ Adee, have tried the ek mounts. They came from a Honda mechanic who knows what thes talking about, so i honestly doubt they werent what he said.

Have also been told that I need to use the ek timing belt bracket? Something along those lines. The overall opinion is that b series mounts just just work, but they dont and it doesnt seem like a common problem!
 
yeah when swapping a b series into a d series ek you need the b series ek4/9 rear mount and timing belt side mount not sure why they aint fitting though
