I've changed all fuel related parts it's doing my head in just makes me want to sell the car and get something newer. Now my front driver caliper is seized fs one thing after an other
What about a bad icm? I know if your coil go's it sometimes fu#ks with the icm inside the dizzy ?
But I would get a lend of a ecu also just to rule that out ?

Honestly I'm sitting in traffic here and everytime I move and stop my revs stick if I put my foot under the pedal and pull it the revs drop to normal I'm going to oil it and see if that does anything incase it's gacked up with **** and I'll try and source an ecu

Ok I **** you not here my throttle was sticking while driving in traffic so when I got home I took the throttle cable off the throttle body and held it up in the air and sprayed wd40 into it and work it I and out for around ten minutes or so while adding more wd. I then put some 3in1 oil in it and worked it in and now the throttle cable is really free which no resistance so reinstalled it and took the car for a drive and so far there has been no hesitation give it a try on yours before buying anymore parts

If this has been a sticky throttle cable the entire time, I feel for you mate. All the headache and money spent must be painful for it to be the throttle cable.

I know Im near sick here around £300+ on parts but even if I had left it into someone to fault find it would have been some bill and they probably would have never checked the cable

I'm sceptical about a trottle cable doing all that , but that would be the biggest overlooked mf in history lol.

I did mention the throttle sticking in a other thread. Although you'd think you'd feel a stiffness through the pedal.

Either way, good luck!

I greased @jesse888 it ages ago when you said about it but the pedal wasn't stiff at all only noticed in the traffic yesterday what would be a good oil grease etc to lub it as wd drys after a while

Any grease should do it. Wd40 isn't really a grease.

I had a sticky trottle and it was a pig , trying to start off slowly with a sticky trottle is a nightmare,
Turned out to be butterfly, and dead stop come loose.

I adjusted the dead stop nut to spec , the butterfly was closing a tiny bit to far and catching on the trottle body,
It will be in the honda service manual I sent you ,

Curious , what is the spec on the screw ? mines sticking and needs a few taps to get it off . Probs a common issue working loose

As long as your tps is set right, you wind the little bolt back up to .48v and just make sure you have slack in the trottle cable and the butterfly valve is just a tiny bit off from been seated to the TB.

Mines set roughly at. 46/.47 ct as I had it set. 48 ct and 4.5 wot and it was idle hunting I got some 3in1 oil to try and lube the throttle cable as the silicone spray wasn't lasting even tried rubbing a candle on the cable but still sticking. Im near sure that it's sticking in the rubber boot/gator

Take the trottle cable off ,and flick the butterfly valve open and let it flick back closed,
Do that a few times and if it's the butterfly valve sticking
Rather then the cable,
You will need to adjust the dead stop bolt,
Just a hair ,
And mybe re adjust tps to spec.

Can the butterfly be lubricated with anything? Changed my iacv to my old one as I give it a real good clean and noticed that the holes in the inlet where the iacv goes there's like abit of black gunky **** in it I put the corner of a rag in and run it round it and got some of it out.now I don't think it is blocked but not sure how clean it is as I can't really see into it. Would this be normal
