HI thinkin bout gettin ITB`s on my 9
jst to c if any1 has seen it done, and how easy it would be 2 do?
and also wonderin how much HP its possable of getting

any comments would be helpfull cheers:nice:

can you post what mods you haver right now?

It's not easy.

gains are dependent on the rest of your mods.

It only gets easy if you have lots of money and competent tuners.

In short, it is not advisable for those who aren't willing to go through some rather extensive/expensive teething pains.

im still searching for a tuner in my area that deal with itb`s.

ive priced all the parts and its not too expensive.

im just shoping about 2 c if it would b worth it before i go spending my money.

I think your current mods don't match a ITB setup my friend.

What other mods would u advise?
Have u seen this done on a b16b before?

I've seen it done on a 16B, but this info is for a 16A2 with 16B pistons - almost the same thing.

Long Block:
'00 SI B16A2
CTR PCT pistoins w/ honda rings std. bore (81mm)
ARP rod Bolts
ARP head studs
OEM head gasket, used 1 piece
Comptech Machine Street port w/ full radius valve job
ITR intake Valves
Portflow springs and retainers
Skunk Stage 2 cams and gears
ITR Intake manifold ported by Comptech Machine
ITR throttle body
MemoryFab J's style CarbonFiber Intake
Toda header
STr fuel rail
RC 310cc Injectors
CTR N-1 crank Pulley

BEFORE Toda ITB:

AFTER with Toda ITB:

Expect similar gains - power isn't really increased up top, but that's some good gains in trq and midrange - to say the least.

i just got mine not too long ago, some TWM 50mm's. We'll see how it turns out!

I have no direct experiance with ITB's but know people who have them fitted (Honda and non Honda/Rally cars etc) and I will echo above. ITB's are normally looked at when the rest of the motor has been treated to everything it needs and more.

Also, buying the itb's is the easy and cheap part, the expensive part is tuning/mapping to get the most out of them and torque is where the most improvement is usually made.

IMO of course

worth mentioning is on that setup RA posted above that motor is probably around 12+ compression.

Cheers for all the info al take all of this in2 consideration.
Maybe theres alot of mods i should tackle before this lol.
