Been on the forum for a while, though id put my build up for my eg civic, copied this from Itr dc2 :)

This is my first build up thread. i had a silver b18c-eg last year, which i wrote off, i salvaged pretty much most the parts and made a bit of money of it. kept the running gear as the engine was running perfect (no burning oil and pulled goood) got it compression tested, and the results came out good. forgot the exact figures.

So i though id do a project, i found a full rolling shell from drmikey, which was a k20 eg! this is what it looked like when i got it.

The shell is stripped out from the inside, apart from dashboard, which i will be replacing with a black one. i have the old interior from my other car, so will transfer over the bits. the arches are mint, and the respray is in pirates black, which i think looks good in the sun light :)

I then purchased some 5050 rear lights off matty.

The fitment is okay. i got bored of the standard lights at the back.


I sold the itr brake set up and wheels. and put that money towards my new brake set up.

I got some front and rear hubs from an Esi civic. which i got them shotblasted.

Got the legend twinpots shotblasted 2, the first things i bought were better brakes, i had a **** set up before and it really effected the car. so doing it right this time.

Painted them trailing arms with hammerite (also painted the front hubs but no pics)

Not such a good job, but was in a hurry to get them on, probably will shot blast them and paint them properly at a later date.

I bought some new wheels too, not sure if they would look good with the car. but **** it.

15inch Rota track R's with toyo t1r. the colour of the track rs are rare, i havent seen them before. got them of matty 2.


Legent twinpots fitted with brand new EBC Yellow stuff pads and ebc blank disks. also with Hel Red braided brake lines front and back

For the rear i am running ek9 calipers, blank disks bought from a motor factors, and oem pads

Bought A spoon rep lip of Teishi Racing. It clips straight on. will screw it on just to be safe

The car is wayy to high, the itr shocks and springs have been at its highest position for 6 months, was told it would go down soon with engine in, but it hasnt, so i think drmikey is going to sort something out. Was thinking of color coding the lip, what you guys think, i am currently painting the wing mirrors the same color as the car. think i will need to use photoshop once the car is at a height that im happy with.

Full rocker cover gasket set, Hamp oil filter, oem rear brake pads, Exhaust mani gasket, and a fuel filter.

Engine needs a clean, and the rocker cover is going for painting soon.

Noticed this on the gearbox mount on the chassis.

got the door cards of matty, something different, will be putting black interior in the car once its running.

Got some seats ive always wanted too, got them for a bargain, and are pretty clean aswell

Still need to order some MTF, and some more coolant. i have denso irridium spark plugs and blue ngk leads somwhere, also fitted a new dizzy cap. o yeah and i bought a new PCV valve.

Braided clutch line and clutch cylinder.

Bought some rear camber and toe arms. brand new but got them for used price :)

The buddyclub camber arms are brand new and have been fitted, got them for cheap, i think of chesh on here.
the toe arms are cyberspeed and bought them off ebay. also new. but are not fitted yet

Going to buy some Buddyclub front camber arms next months, then will get the car laser alligned.

I also bought an exhaust system of Rammy.

Tri-Y replica 2.5inch Manifold, and a fujitsubo RM01a Exhaust system.
the backbox has a slight dent on it, but not a big deal, From what i heard this exhaust system sounds very good on itrs. so wel have to see, heard got things about the manifold too.

put the coilovers on, and my mate came over in crx and took some pics with his iphone.

BTW my car hasnt been washed in god knows how long and the interior isnt in yet..apart from the recaros and carpet lol!

one of the track rs lip started to peel off, so got rid of them and bought some slip streams in black, look better i think, also got some federal RSR waiting to be fitted, also sold the fujitsubo and bought a mugen twin loop, sound much better imo. Also put a pic up of my type R and eg after the ep3 had the front bumper sprayed

Wheels look much better now, I would call that a "fix" lol.
What header is in your civic now? that same tri y?

Did you figure out that error code with VTEC?
 
i sold the tri y to the guy i bought it off, instead i bought a RMF rep manifold from usa, it was knock sensor, wired in the knock sensor manually, now theres only electric load detector code up. Yeah everyone telling me the track-rs look better, but im liking these slip streams, so there staying :D was thinking of getting a Bee-r rev limiter, mainly for pops and bangs, but i dont think itl sound too good with a twin loop..
 
The new header looks better, from the little I can see. Can you post up some better pics of the new header? I am loven it tho.
 
real nice progress there those recaros look mint :) slips always look good in my opinion and there light as well ;)
 
the recaros were mint, they gotten dirty now, im going to clean em before i bring the car out, yeah they are light, much lighter than the track rs, tama666 i will get some better pics of the manifold today or tommorow :) bought it from "kiddracing" over on hondatech
 
the car is now on the road, going for a remap at eurospec.

The car car made good power at the dyno, but running slightly lean, so that will be sorted out.

Thinking of shaving the bay and wire tuck, but not sure yet.

been told tdi dynos read high, romain will be mapping it in a few weeks, cant wait for that!
 
That's a clean eg man love the look of it looks mean "sleeper" ;)
