I know mate, it's just pathetic. Have to pay £18 just to go back and show them my fog turns off with my sidelights lol.
Never going back to Ards test centre again

What a knob that tester must have been. Usually only check the tell tale works and that the light itself works. Feel for u bro...

Don't need to mention how awesome this sol is, you already know I have much love for it haha :nice:

EDIT: you shouldn't have to pay for a retest as it will be a fast-track retest if you return within 12 days...

Just annoying, the fog passed last year and I haven't changed it. It's just that test centre, it's notorious for being hard but it's closest to me.
I think that might only be england you can do that, over here you have to rebook again and there's no fast track option :(

Ah yeah sorry i assumed it would be the same, that sucks man :(

Least youv got it sorted though. Looking foreward to some more updates :drool:
 
Yea going to sort it tomorrow, think all I need to do is run the power for the switch from the sidelights.
Need to respray my rear recess as I burnt through the paint slightly on an edge lol, so can't put the decals on yet.
I'm on the lookout for some nice wheels and some coilovers :)

nightmare about the mot bud. i had no problems when i put it threw last year!! but saying that,the mot man was just blew away by how clean it was. he was just a we perv lol..

keep up the great work mate.

Haha I wish the guy I had was a perv, he thought the car was a European model lol. That's the sort I was dealing with.
It's sorted now though, just rewired the live wire for the fog switch to the headlight wire.

Really need a better camera to show the car off proper. My photos are terrible haha.
 
Well its that time of year again to pull the del sol out of the garage and enjoy driving it in the slightly better weather. It has been off the road since September so its been a long wait to vtec haha.
She's all insured and passed MOT without any advisories so happy days :))
Gave it a long overdue wash inside and out today while the weather was nice. No plans for it really, all my money is going into my k20 del sol which you can find here:
