I already drove both of them, i think that ek9 has a better halding that the ITR. :nice:

what do you think?
 
ek9 more stable but 98+ itr better brakes... but ek9 for me(im aware same brakes on both just felt better)
 
with stock engine they´re both even handling, the 2 of them can be tune up
to be a rival to fear but I go for the DC2 Type R
 
The DC2 Type-R was once voted thee best handling front wheel drive car ever! and i'm not gonna dissagree with that - only thing i can say is i have never drove either an EK9 or a DC2 so i'm not really in a great position to have a valid opinion.

I have however voted for the Integra - it has a shorter wheelbase than the Civic and i've only ever seen the DC2 win in a race, whether that is because of power reasons i am unsure.
 
Ek9 was the fastest through a few corner sections on the tsukuba circuit :nice:

i will post a video of a ek9 winning a race against 96 ITR and a 98 spec ITR, it was a short circuit, and gansan driving :nerv:
 
they say dc2 has oversteer characteristic on handling, while ek9 is somewhat a neutral one ^^
 
I have both and the EK9 is more stable. But in every race, DC2R wins. Some races in Best motoring is just biased... put both cars in the hands of Tsuchiya on a time trial and the DC2R will post faster times hands down!...

But as the question says... I vote for ek9.
 
i have owned both and feel that the ek9 is more stable and goes exactly where you point it,
altho the dc2 is still a very impressive car:)

I was looking for the one in Maze circuit, with the 9 battling on wet against the DC2`s facelift and prefacelift, but couldn`t find it. In most best motoring shows the 9 though slower, handles better than the teg. having driven a teg many times, i say the teg turns better!!!
 
iv only ever drove an ek9 and if a dc2 is better then **** me
 
I cant vote!!!

I've owned 2 ek9's and I'm on my 5th JDM ITR and I cant pick 1, they are both good at their own thing's.

ek9 is unbelievable on the road ie. rough surface's etc

but on a track/good surface the DC2 tear's the ek9 to shread's, lift off over steer is so easy to control and use to your advantage in them!!

if they had the same horsepower output the ek9 would kill a dc2 round a track
 
from what i've herd i thought the DC2 has amazing handling. And the EK9 isnt as good etc etc

lol, thats going to cause some upsets lol, i do agree tho, dc2 is better in a few ways,
think its better as it was produced before the ek9 and it was honda's "baby" at the time, doubt they would want to out do them selfs with the introduction of the ek9
 
i've driven both, my ek9 and my mates 96 teg :

imo the ek9 handles better. :)
