Better B18 intake?

currently im running a cold air fed oem ek9 box (lower resonator removed) but around 2-3k the engine feels strangled.
would i be beter getting a spoon elbow for the car to free + direct air better or going for a DC2R intake which i heard is much better for the engine?

Moved to Air intake/Exhaust section. The dc2 airbox is regarded best of the oem for these engines so should be a good upgrade over your current setup.

thanks dude. and thanks for relocating, well i can get a spoon elbow for 150 or a dc2 box for 80 so im thinkin dc2 box

For what it is the spoon elbow is a rip off IMO. You should be able to get 50 for your EK9 airbox so the dc2 box is only going to cost you a extra 30 really

Believe me it took many calls and emails to find that engine. Very rare these days to locate a 00 engine with very low miles

this baby isnt even broken in it has bout 60km on it at this stage!!
