Might aswell start a thread of my ITR that ive had almost a year now.

Spooner restorations rocker cover

In the year ive had the car the following parts have been replaced or added

Honda OEM RTA bushes
Inner/track rod ends
Braided brake lines
Braided clutch line
Honda OEM Clutch
Steering rack boots
All CV boots
Removed A/C
Cusco rear upper brace
Mugen rep pedals

Advan RG's 16"x7" with bridgestone potenza re050a/yokohama s drives at the rear

Had her on the dyno she made 193bhp at the fly and 127lb/ft. I feel she can make more as the exhaust is needing repacked and welded was also running the Cat at the time and the tracking was out :(

Rod's Integra type R jdmy0 dyno day - YouTube

A few pictures, sorry for the iphone quality.

Future plans are

Full repray next month, as paint work is shocking at bits
Fit cwest lip
Repair exhaust
Front lca bushes
Front/rear camber arms - set up
Paint the advans back to original gold and blue, what you think? Any suggestions?

Get those bits done and call it a day for now and enjoy her without worry.
If a Mugen gen one pops up that will be the final piece of the puzzle. Cant see that happening anytime soon.

Comments welcome

Looks good. Where abouts in Edinburgh are you based? Never seen jdm black itr about...

Well just outside edinburgh in a dump called broxburn, 20 min drive into the centre of town, probably about 15 minutes from livingston.

So this month the respray got finished whilst in the garage and on the ramps i spent a few days underneith sorting out any obvious surface rust, to my suprise there wasnt much for a car that hadnt been undersealed.
Since ive owned the car i only got the arches done and behind the bumpers.
Heres a wee update on how it all went down.

Underside and behind the fuel tank sprayed with stone chip. What a nice finish compared to painting with a brush.

Now all the prep work begins...

3 days in, this is how it looked (new rust free wings)

What aerial hole ???

All dents repaired including this one after a hit and run, was pushed out a fair bit but wasnt 100%

When it happened .... Knobheads

All bumpers/wings/repairs primed and rubbed down, some amount of rubbing down i wanted to slit my wrists at times, but if you want a good finish you gotta do it right.

Putting it back together myself was alot more simple than first expected without my mate being around to keep me right if i was unsure about anything.

All done , a few pics

Recieved a free Spoon carbon bonnet from my mate. Its from his old dc2 project which he broke. However he hadnt managed to sell it due to the label peeling off. Ive seen many a spoon bonnet to know this is genuine underneith is the same colour/material on the frame, the weaves on it are truely amazing another few tell tale signs such as condensation forms where the frame isnt. It came off a dc2 littered with spoon parts also
If this isnt a spoon bonnet its a damn good replica. Way better quality than other seibon bonnets etc, its free so i sure as hell aint gonna complain. Will get this fitted after the winter.

Out with the old and in with the new legalis R as my B pipe had more holes in it than a barrel of fannies,
And the baffle in the box itself had sh@t it, the car sounded like an angry hornets nest it really wasnt for me. Really happy with the sound now its alot more mellow and regained the lost power.
The car will be coming off the road at the end of the month and that gives me the chance to save up for more parts, camber/toe arms badly needed to say the least.

omg, free spoon bonnet, that has yet to happen to me

. . . anybody?

Bought a christmas care package for the Integra

Front & Rear Camber Arms
OEM Front Lower Control Arm Bushes
Sump Baffle
Poly Shifter Bush
New Lug nuts (old ones where shafted)

Managed to source some wheel stickers for when i come to painting my wheels. What a ballache to find....
Gonna get it booked in for a full Geo set up in the coming weeks along with a service.

Also sorted out a leaking light with the home made seals.

Plenty of silicone involved, job done.
