Boggs's Ej9 Build Up


Sold my megan exhaust system and bought a 5zigen fireball catback with a ek9 baffled decat. Hoping to fit it start of next week.

nice, just get rid of the stupid decals off the windscreen and it will be top!
 
Nice car mate, a lot of work has been put into this, was the shell a EJ9 or is it a EK9 shell?

Got my 5zigen fireball exhaust fitted so thought I would get a video.. Although my car is now backfiring when I let off the gas any ideas? Also fitted a purple beaks bar that you can make out in the video :)
 
Been doing some building at the car recently.. I have the full interior in and the ride height set. Just a few wee small things to sort now

very nice build so far! sorry to hear about your write off tho... i just had one question and that is where did you get that tow strap?? ive seen a couple ek's with them and think they look far better than metal tow hooks... cheers

Got some facelift rear lights off kipper on here also removed the sun strip and got a sticker for the back :)

Planning to get some real ek9 headlights and a drivers recaro. Anyone interested in swapping a ek9/dc2 recaro with a ek9 rail for my Bride Vious low max bucket seat with rail pm me :)

Ah I actually had the x brace as well as the other bars fitted before the car was on the road so I never really drove the car much without them.

Finally got the car on the road got it fully undersealed front and rear anti roll bars fitted with new bushings and drop links. The car has also been fully aligned and corner weighted for fast road set up:

Straight baller status :p lol. So glad you have this thing back on the road!
 
Just looked through the whole thread! A lot of time/effort/money went into the build! Very nice car mate! :)
