Hey guys just wondering whats a good buddy club N+ settings??? For those who has it or use it what are your settings? And can you show picture of height if possible thank you.

Mine came with 12k front springs and 8k rear springs

Preload - when i fitted the coilovers set the spring preload so you can just turn the spring round by hand

Height - after set the preload, use the adjustable shock bodies to set the height, really comes down to you how high you want the car, i opted for 580mm from arch to ground all round which is a bit low

My car has adjustable camber all round and castor adjustment on the front too so i set that to my own chosen settings

Damping wise i only have them set at 3 out of 10 clicks all round and it feels spot on, takes bumps well but obviously due to the spring rates there is no roll whatsoever in cornering!!!

Not had tooo much of a chance to drive it with the weather (been snowed in :(( ) but so far i'm impressed!!!

With the slope of the drive the car looks to have some rake but it sits completely flat all round

Ahh i just installed my N+ today, well my spring rate is 10 front 6 back and ermm on the front i set lowest height and mid height for the back and it looks just like your however i put damper on softest because the guy told me leave it and let it sit for a few days and geez i hear scraping sound on every corner i take T.T just wonder does your one scrape? or will it be better wen i set the damper harder? ill get u a pic soon

mine still have about 30mm of thread front and rear......

they were maybe specced differently for the uk market as mine are 12k/8k, no scraping at all from mine

hmmm thats weird so do you think if i set my damper setting harder will still scrape?

if you set the damper harder it should scrape less, i'm also running alot of camber on the front so the wheels clear better, give me a second and i'll take a couple of better pics so you can see :)

guys i own the N+ coilovers as well. The spring rates for the EK are 10K front and 7K rear! Not more as i read.. Furthermore there are 15 scales of hardening not 10.
this is how it sits

I had some issues whatsoever. Firstly these coilovers are shorter than stock. This means that even in its highest position they sit way more low than usual. If you don't have large rims you have problems. Me for instance with 14inch wheels and shorter tyre profile (185-55-14 than 185-60-14) i had clearance issues. Especially in the rear. So i had to make 2 custom higher top mounts. This is not a big deal.

Something to be aware of. Before you install them you need to apply water resistant grease. Otherwise it is likely that you hear various noises. This is a common practice when you install dumpers.

The negative thing is that it is a bit jumpy and i am afraid that this is due to some spring preload that my mechanic applied to the spring for safety reasons as he told me. The instruction were saying no preload must be applied and the length of the spring must be 12cm..Any comments on that? Can this be the reason for jumpy ride?

i checked with budclub uk and mine are deffinately 12k / 8k, was the last set they had left

also i could only get 10 clicks out of mine, didn't want to force it either way :)

Yes they are N+

They are also awesome.

Those spring rates you have stated are from the US site not the UK, if you check out Tein US the spring rates for their coiloversd are different to Tein UK, products differ per country ;)

I ordered mine from the states so i believe that my spring rates are as i told. It's very interesting though. So you mean that the eudm models have harder springs. This would mean that there are plenty of spring rates available. Maybe your springs are from the racing spec coilovers.

this is their part number

Do you remember when you installed them? Did you apply any preload to the spring? Could this be a cause of bouncy ride? Regardless of 7k rear springs the rear is the hardest i suppose due to less weight. My civic weights 1000kg so the ride will be harder in comparison to a 1200 civic coupe.
Still i am very satisfied with them. They are totally better in comparison to my previous combo (HnR+ bilsteins sprint)

yeah, they are set you can just turn round the spring by hand, so just the tiniest bit of preload :)

bad news...my mechanic applied more preload...F@@@king ignorant....
I guess this is one reason why they are jumpy while they absorb bumps decently..

Whats your height adjustment for your front? Isn't having smaller wheels like your seem to be less trouble with mine is 16inch wheels and even if i put height on the highest it wouldn't lift much.

Id heard my mate said people who have lowered cars they usually scrape so you get a hammer and softly beat the arch up or out abit from underneath. Is this true? Cause i dont wanna hammer any of my wheel arches out more.

In front it is just a little from the upper point i can put them. For the rear i made some custom top mounts from teflon so as to be able to increase heght cause it was really low.

I couldn't tell you what happens with 16inch rims!14inch is to small to have these worries. The only problem i had was with ground clearance
