Buddyclub Spec II Vs Skunk 2 Megapower R

Hi all. Hopefully I will be getting an EK9 in a few months. However I am trying to do a bit of homework on some exhaust systems. I have narrowed it down to either a Buddyclub Spec II or a Skunk 2 Megapower R system. If some one could just give me some pro's and con's on each system I would be very greatfull. Lee. :nice:
 
haha... sorry m8....
exhaust really doesnt really make enough difference to notice... with exhausts, build quality and sound would be the things to consider
 
I would recommend the Skunk2. I have one and its nice. Its loud and has a nice deep note to it. You should consider getting a new header as well. Header + new exhaust = noticeable gains! One without the other you really don't have much in gains.
 
Yeah well I though about a Buddyclub Spec II cat-back, Buddyclub racing 4-2-1 header and de-cat. Also a J's racing air filter. I should notice some good gains with this set-up, correct?

Dude, is the skunk2 stupidly loud or is pretty barable for a daily driven car?
 
Is this your'e car teg_boy? I have seen it on youtube and I think it sounds awesome! Let me know when you have got this set-up on your'e EK9 and post a vid so I have an idea what it sounds like.
 
Not liking the sound of that in the slightest!

Too raspy.

Doubt very much that it is his car, seeing as he is in the UK and that car is wearing British plates or on UK roads.

every time i drive down the street no matter how slow im going i set off car alarms. does that answer your question? :wow:
i will tell you exactly what it sound like. it sounds like a small airplane! you know, a cessna!

Man, that loud:wow:? Have you got any videos of your car?

@ Teg Boy - Ive watched that vid of your car on youtube before. Not really my taste but I can't deny it sounds insane:nice:
 
Holy hondas batman, that is loud! :shocked: I do shift work so not for me, the neighbours would lynch me!
 
Both have the mandatory mid-silencer, but the skunk2 also has a rear muffler. The BC II is virtually just a straight-through pipe from axle-back. You really have to hear it in person to realize how much keeping your hearing is worth to you ;)
