Bushell's ej9 (New shoes, P7 )

Thanks man. Looking for New wheels soon. Hopefully get the body work seen to in the next few weeks aswell. :)

Had a pretty busy day with the car today heres a list of what got done:
Ek9'd the rear lights
Adjusted the rear splitter
Washed
de-tarred
Removed green mould from boot checks, door mouldings, petrol cap etc
Washed (again)
Polished
Waxed
Fitted L.E.D side light and number plate bulbs
Fitted new headlight bulbs
New front wipers
New front plate
And clear side repeaters

Unfortunately by the time I finished it was crappy light so only took a few quick shots, will post up better before and after pics tomorrow.

Cheers man, ek9's took a bit longer than expected but its all good and proper now, also found the passenger side footwells to be soaking wet so that will be getting investigated soon :)

Theres a how to link in the general section of the forum buddy ;), basically, all you need is a double filament bulb holder, put that in instead of the single filament foglight holder, wire it up to the side light and fog, remove the reflector in the o/s tail lamp aswell. Then drill a hold in the other side for your single filament bulb holder and wire into the side light ;)

So heres some before and after photos, apologies for the quality just took them on my Samsung phone, could be worse mind you could be an iphone.... anyways here you go, not the best but its a start:

Looking good dude! Nice to see the cars gone to a good home and being looked after :D

Cheers guys, nice to hear. Need to concentrate on this leak next. Washed the car twice today just blasted with a jet wash and the carpet is still dry so dont think ots major. Just need to find where its coming from.

Good to see you back in a Civic bud.

Car looks good. Hope to catch you at a meet soon bud :nice:

Cheers buddy, feels good to be back haha despite the current headache im having at the moment with this water leak....:angry2:

So onto this glorious water leak....

I was working today so I used my 2 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch to my advantage, as its the passenger side that is wet I started on that side, I have been speaking to a few guys on here for advice. So I removed the wipers and scuttle panel in the morning and checked that area which proved to be clean and free from dirt (see pic below) so I ruled that out.

Also removed the battery to check the grommet's and noticed nothing unusual

I then checked the sunroof drainage hole and it was pouring out the wing so that wasn't blocked

I then removed the arch liner to check for anything unusual there, the bung was in place and not deteriorated in anyway so I ruled that out.

So then I set about removing the carpet, which hasn't gotten any wetter after 2 jet wash's and a wee bit of rain. Once removed I was having a wee poke about to see what I could see. I noticed a slight water trail (all be it a dry one which was a rusty colour highlighted in below pic) So tomorrow I am going to unbolt the ecu and just move it aside to see what I can see behind there as I think its coming from behind there somewhere. Whilst I still had it in pieces I got a friend to soak the car with a watering can whilst I was inside and I never seen a dribble of water.... The trail of ''rusty'' water is very faint but its all I have to go on as nothing else is obvious.

Thanks for taking time to read all that guys and girls, now please help me the f**k out haha, seriously though any tips, advice or comments welcome :)

Looks lovely :nice:

Its your sunroof guttering, when it gets blocked with bad weather and dirt the water leaks inside, 3 off my cars had sunroof guttering blocked and water used to leak inside an thats how i know lol

Give it a shot, its worth a try

I tried that mate. Poured water down the left hand side one and it came out at the wing straight away so dont think its that. Beginning to think its a dash out job :/

Its looking good man! Proper clean like! Its not even loud ;) hahaha couldn't even hear it over ma wee puddle jumper! lol :nice:
