really do love 6UL 949's, really contemplating getting a set, seem to be everywhere in the states especially with matias and civics.

Only know of a couple of people in the UK running them...

6UL wheels are a lower cost solution to getting 15x8" wheels, over the TE37SL's in the USA. I had them at one point but gave them up in fear of them doing what is in the pic below.
Not so low cost after-all if this were to happen.

Yeh Im aware they are cheap in comparision to the Rays. The weight, range of widths and design on the otherhand are all good.!

I do believe that the cracks forming on the back of the rim was present in the gen 1-2 versions, but it has been rectified since....but dont quote me on that.

**P.s I have just watched that vid.. now I know your car is built to a great spec but DAYM, that thing goes!! Good work.
 
Great cars and your car is a beast on track! Looks like it goes well. The weather looks ******* brilliant, wish we had more sun.

I love the look of the 949 wheels, ill give them that for sure!
949 or Rays, I still check them over carefully after each event or off road travels...lol.

Its a ton of fun when there are some good cars and drivers out on track, but there are also bad drivers on track which I run with, kinda scary at times too.

I can only complain about the heat, having sun is great dont get me wrong, but man the heat is a killer, it zaps me of energy in no time at all.
 
When you show up do the guys in porsches and m3s say 'oh no that guy with the civic is here again' haha

lol, not that I know of...I roam the paddock talking to everyone and snapping up pictures as I go...most everyone is outgoing, helpful and fun to chat with. Seems to be the same out on track, everyone is courteous, well almost everyone... ;)

It would be much more fun to run with others with similar lap times which happened my last session on 4.14, what a hoot!

That's the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to go back because everyone enjoys it. I've set my car up for track and hope to do as many as i can afford this year so I hope its the same here to!
