Item for sale: Camtec c1 coilover suspension kits

Price: £500 with minimum of 5 orders.

50% deposit is taken to reserve the order,

the remainding 50% when we have all 5 deposits in.

Condition: New, Boxed and un-used.

Description:

-53mm monotube design *as standard*
-Fully CNC aluminium alloy cups and collars
-32 way dampening adjustable
-Fully ride height adjustable
-Spring Pre load adjustable
-Aluminium top mounts
-Pillow ball top mounts available with camtec C2 coilovers *PM for more info*
-Anodized in *Camtec* blue

Comes with 2 C spanners and new top mount nuts.

Most Honda models covered and many other brands.

Few spring ratings :

Ek - 10kg front 6kg rear
Dc2 - 12kg front 6kg rear
Eg - 12kg front 6kg rear
Ef - 10kg front 5kg rear
Ep - 8kg front 10kg rear
Fd - 6kg front 8kg rear
S2k - 10kg front 10kg rear

Hey buddy, as much as I hate comparing our product to others and vice versa because every other manufacturer has its on ways of doing things.

What I can tell you tho is that through our testing we prefer these over a few models of suspension out there.

-Gaz coilovers
-Tein super street
-Tein type HA
-d2's

In essence what we tried to achieve is a coilover that is good enough for the track, with the reliability and comfort to be daily driven on UK roads.

For the more track orientated car we also have the camtec c2's that have heavier spring ratings, pillow ball too mounts, and higher rebound/compression adjustment.

But to answer your question, the closest we have got to another brand will be the BC racing br coilover. On the road they have similar performance and feel.

X2 Can't see the spring rates in the description. Would have thought this to be one of the main spec's to inform people.

Reason why they were not posted is because it depends on a application. Will post basic Honda ones for people.

They look nice , are they basically a Meister/BC/HSD coily with your stickers on it? Seems to be all around that price range .
 
As above, who makes them? Could they be valved for a much higher spring rate in the rear like 16-18kg. Are they rebuildable and do you have the spares? Also do you offer any kind of warrenty?

Thanks. Indeed they do look nice.

However you are mistaken in thinking that they are basically bc or meisterR or HSD.

Our manufacturer only makes OUR suspension, not anyone else's.

They do NOT come out of the same factory as x y z companies etc.

Think you will find that ours are better value for money, as we want to bring good well built suspension, to the enthusiast back at an affordable price.

We could do custom set ups for those sort of spring ratings yes.

We do not OWN the manufacturing plant, however when you say who makes them, I would have to say "we" make them.

They are our design, our colour, our material choices, NOT randomly gone into somewhere bought bulk and stuck a sticker on them.

Being the "makers" of them we carry on plants of spares and they are fully rebuildable.

6 months full warranty against any manufacturing default.

Where are they manufactured also?

Our manufactures have been making OE replacement suspension for over 15 years.

Every design of coilover goes through several tests incl dyno testing as well as the springs.

The raw materials are also tested for durability and strength.

These are manufactured in china, but why would that put anyone off?

Fair enough, wasn't sure if you were part of the design process. Being produced in china doesnt/shouldn't put people off as its more viable as labour is cheaper.

Do they have blow off valves?
 
Add me to the list if you can do me a set with 10kg front, 16 or 18kg rear valved to suit.

The above is correct it's all regarding labour costs etc.

To get something like this all built and made in the UK it would cost around double the cost. Unless seriously big quantities were produced, and even then wouldn't be too far off the same price.

You say that but what makes yours better value for money & performance over the aforementioned brands which have been on the market awhile now with good reviews.
