That is your fuel line and the device I think is a magnet that is supposed to charge the fuel molecules in order to make them burn more efficiently.

Not sure if it will improve anything but it wont make it any worse

yes it is on the fuel line! its duty is to increase fuel efficiency suppose!

It will most probably do less than bugger all,

the only function i can see it serving is adding more weight to your car,,

if it were mine i would remove it,
