Can i get some help on Choosing a new car.

So far im deciding between a k20 Ek9 and a E36 M3, my spending limits around 7-8K

the ek9 is a really great car and all but when i do find one i pretty sure im going to have to spend all my 8k if not more.

the m3 e36 on the other hand i can probably find one for about 6k which will leave me 1-2k on mods or w.e but in the long run will **** me with repairs and ****.

both are good cars but im thorn between choosing one. :angry2:

also i would consider buying a k20 and a ek shell and do the swap my self but im getting a job soon and college is also starting soon so i need a car within the next month or so.

It's got to be the 9 :) it may be expensive but it's well worth it, plus BMW's are just awful, my dads mate has had BMW's as his company cars for the last 10/15 years and it's been broken down more times than it's been running :lol:
 
Woah e36 m3 for 6k, im sure there worth around 3-4k at that price you can get the e46 m3 or for around 8k e46 m3 with the smg box

sorta its alot of looking and my cousin had a really clean one for sale like a year ago for 7k i think, and im kicking my self now for not telling my dad to try and make a deal with him lmfao

i live in US thats why there pricey, a e46 M3 over hear goes for 12-15K sometimes higher

yea thats the thing that stopping me its the reliability and not only that there expensive as hell to repair, if and i doubt this but if i where to get a ek9 and it broke down im sure i wont have to pay a whole lot to get it repaired
 
EK9, no doubt BMW's are great but everyone will look at you like you're a c**t lol.
 
Why bother with an E36 M3 if u have Around 6-8K. U can get an early E46 M3 for that. Much better than the E36

K20 EK9 would be cool but not worth 8K I'd say.

A E36 would be in his price range but a E46 is out of his price range (KBB lists '01 at 8k+). He's talking US Dollars not GBP. Although, if he found the right person he could probably negotiate and barter them down on a E46. Maybe with the economy and the fact your in California which has an unemployment rate of 10.9 may work in your favor.

Personally, I'd buy a H22 swapped Hatch and save the rest.

id look for a e46 but i cant find any under 10K cheapest ive found is 11,500 and it looked abused, and yea k20 ek, when i do find them are all 8k and over, ive also recently been looking for 240sx there really cheap and if i buy one with a sr sawp for around 4k im pretty sure i can use the rest on tuning and what not and have a decent street car or just save the rest of them money loll
