Only done my clutch kit fly wheel and timing belt kit 3 month ago,
Now I need to do my input shaft bearing :angry2: if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all .

Blowout gearbox build on the way then....

Jesse when you say blowout gearbox, what do you mean?
I thought I just have to replace isb and oil seal and maybe the bearing on top of the shaft, but I'm hoping to get the Xmas out of it, not a hard job to do ?

I mean gearset and plate diff install while its apart :)
Not too hard a job mate no.

Ah ! Ok iv s4c lsd 4.4 what would you recommend?
Keeping in mind that I be doing the work ,and never done it before, so it would have to be easy enough,

Was meant as a joke more than anything but fitting a final drive is the easier job. Still Involves removing the input shaft and replacing it. Swapping all your gears over to the new input shaft then replacing the ring gear on the diff.

Think I will just keep it the way it is and just replace bearing , I'm a novice when it comes to all that ,and I'd be afraid I'd fack something up tbh lol, I'd really love if the box held up till summer as iv no garage or hoist and would have to wait till kids are off school as it our only motor, or I'm just thinking like a lazy bastard!!? and really should make a crack at it one of the coming weekends? Haha sound for the reply M8 ,

I put shaft should last a while if it's only just started. I'd be prepared to change it if it starts getting very noisey quickly but can't see why it won't last till summer if you don't do alot of miles...

Guys in the states have been banging a lot of boost through the d series for ages now. From a reliability stand point of say it depends on the power more than anything between b and d boosted.

Sound M8 I will keep an eye on it so if it get any more loud I will just fix it , now you can barely hear it ,but now and again maybe 3-5 times a week it chatters but as soon as that happens I push the clutch in and let it back out and the noise is gone ,

Your right I gess it all boils down to what power is going on ,but in my opinion for our roads I don't think you need any more than 250-300 BHP, but I'd be happy with 270 BHP and have it reliable as a daily driver , I'd love my motor to be like that

Yeah I used to run 280 on a b16b. That was perfect for a while but soon enough you want more power lol
Now id happily push for 400hp, it's a slippery slope for sure

Haha I hear that alot!! But seems your not going to be far off that when your done with your current build ,
The power has definitely got you by the short and curlys!!

Yeah we'll see. As and when I've got the funds I'll whack the power up.
Brake leaks first!

Haha break leaks all pissing week :angry2: its funny how it only happens when she is left sat for a while? And not when your driving! If that was me I'd be loosing sleep over it :nerv:
But all good things, and all that .

Nah not worth losing sleep. I'll fix it eventually just like the engines.
The car stops really well but obviously with a small leak it's going to get worse overtime and is generally not ideal to have leaky brakes lol
The vast majority of the joins are sealed up, it's only 4 of 14 joins that are playing up.

4 out of 14 ain't bad imo ,well going by your m.o it's safe to say that you get the job done.

Yeah I'll get it done eventually. Always make hard work of it though lol

See what tomorrow brings. I'm hoping I've cleared atleast 1 leak but not holding my breath

Yee have little faith ! Lol sure you be a pro at the job by end of week , or maybe if you never seen another pipe again it'll be too soon :naughtyx:
