civic ferio bumper moldings ek9

does anyone have pictures of their 97 ek9 with these front and rear bumper moldings?

Those are standard bumper moldings for all 96-98 civic Ek, except USDM or North America.

EK9 is the only trim that have them shaved, which make it unique.

I understand that its standard outside NA, however here in Canada they are not standard and drivers here are crazy.

I am just considering my options to put it on the ek9 to prevent damage

I think putting that on a ek9 is damaging it .

But I understand what your saying, I park my car on its own fare away from other cars ,
This is what I got one time , I came out and a lady had her trolley up against my car and her car , I said hay what do you think your doing? Her answer, it's against my car also??? Oh she moved that trolley fast alright,
But people are cu$ts !

The one in your picture is standard molding bumper where the bumper has recess and holes to clip the moldings. They do have honda access bumper molding which is stick on.

You need to so complete bumper swap, which is widely available in several stores in NA now. Do get the oem bumper though coz the aftermarket sucks.

If I do end up getting the front and rear bumper it will be OEM with recess holes in it.

But I do want to see if anyone has it on a ek9 first

I'd be 100% sure no one that has a ek9 has said , I'm going to put sir bumpers on my ek9 , and has done it willingly.
