clutch gone hard

hello people i have an ek9 sitting here about a year now hasent been driving started it up today to give it wash tidy up etc
but the clutch and gears feel stiff and clutch feel harder to push down

whats the problem would changing of fluid and good drive sort it out

pressure plate seized from sitting about,
a good trashing with heat/friction or may need new clutch kit

rite thanks changed the fluid doesnt seem any better still squeaking doh

have you changed the fluid in the transmission AND the clutch master cylinder?

Squeaking normally occurs in 2 places. The pedal unit itself and from the clutch fork. The latter is much more difficult to lubricate as often you just need to drop the transmission itself and service it.

The clutch pressure plate can get a wear grove from the relece bearing making it hard to press. Also I have seen the slave cylinders sieze up before, could be the prob.
