Colours Fading?

Hi, I'v come across a (Milano?) red Civic EK4 and I'm wondering if the colour fades over time like a lot of other reds do.

yeh it does. it becomes milano pink unfortunatly. my mates 2000 plate ek4 has started to fade already on the roof and bonnet. lovely colour

are you refering to me sir? if you do, then the paint is called "passion orange"
oem honda paint here in the philippines, it is exclusive for SiR's here in our country... i think there is a midnight purple paint...(correct me if im wrong guys)

Depends how it's looked after etc.
But as mentioned, a good machine polish or a lot of time with some decent polish (not t cut, it's very harsh and leaves a poor finish) will make it as good as new

Yes and u have to be especially careful if ur using a rotary polisher as its super easy to burn the paint, personally I use a random orbital. On my EK I did a 3 stage polish and it turned out great.
