I'd like to buy a few parts in america off a guy on here.. But how can I cover myself as money back if I don't receive them.. Do I send and pay fees ? Does that work ?.. He said pay as gift so don't need to pay fees but maybe he's being nice .. Help please as I want toi pat fir some parts tioday..

And does it matther that its not all in the one payment that it is 3 weekly payments ?

Cover fees !! Do not under any circumstance send as a gift. I only send as a gift to people I know and trust.

Not a chance would I risk it to anyone overseas. If you cover the fees you're just giving him a little extra so he doesn't lose out on profit.

Pay the fees mate,
It 3.5% on top of whatever your agreed amount for the parts is.

Pay the fees mate, if you pay as a gift PayPal won't do anything if the parts don't arrive.

Do not under any circumstances send as a gift. It's only a few quid. You lose what little protection you had sending as a gift.

If on the off chance he dosent send the parts will I defo get my money back?..

Pay as "goods" and add 4% to the price he quoted less the postage.

What are the parts in question? Pm me if you like as i may be able to help depending what they are :secret:

Or you ask them send you an invoice with the description off goods will that be protected under their PayPal scheme?

If on the off chance he dosent send the parts will I defo get my money back?..

you have 45 days to tell paypal that you didnt receive your items, they then contact the seller and ask them to prove the postage details etc, if he doesnt reply to you or paypal or cannot prove the postage details, they then refund the money.
