Heres the problem i have an obd2b dash loom in my car but have a obd2a engine loom with jumper harness to obd1 with p30 can i just change my dash loom for obd2a i kno it will take some time but will be cheaper than gettin an engine loom any help appreciated

yup just change the interior loom to obd2a mate as they are easy to get hold off and much cheaper than what the obd2b engine loom's fetch.

Cheers mate id been searching for like a hour before i posted! this info is much appreciated so if i was to get a whole dash with it all connected it would be straight forward? might aswell look into a black dash while im there thanks again

the obd2a should plug straight into your obd2b dash :)

Think your confused Jamie, obd2a won't connect to obd2b dash loom, i had to rewire a few wires to make it work, a lot easier than changing the dash loom though, could probably make a thread instructing you how to do it if your interested?

Cheers mate would everything work as i have read that i might have trouble with the speedo? would be great if you could do that as there are probably quite a few people that could use this information instead of paying out 200+ on an engine loom thanks again.

I'll get it sorted next weekend as I'm away this weekend, does save a considerable amount of cash
