yo folks quick question you may be able to help me with ..

Just bought this spoon system for my jdm dc2 96 spec . I assumend it was from a jdm car however from the pic the decat looks pretty big so im now thinking its from a uk dc2 . if so what will I need to change to get it onto my jdm teg , just a different decat and it`ll go straight on ?

cheers Mark

Yea mate, prety sure the jdm and uk tegs are the same underneath in terms of where the hangers and stuff fit. Think the trailing arms are different but that shouldnt affect the fitment of the exhaust.
Should just need to shorten the decat and thats it mate although guess the only way to find out is to fit her on and see if its ok or needs shortened/lengthened :)

Should just bolt straight on if it came off another dc2. Just make sure the decat flange is 2.5 same as the mani.

What was thinking.

If your using the full system from the manifold exit back them it should bolt straight up as long as the donut flange is the same size. Looks like the restrictive center section flange has been cut out and a longer decat made.

i had the same kind of query, bought a standard exhaust off a chap who had a 4 door saloon type R, thought it was the same fitting, hangers all in same place but where the exhaust bends at the back just before it attaches to the backbox is a about 4 inches off. as a result i had to jack the pipe up and put the hangers on the second hole because it was trailing too low to the ground, but now its up so high that its grinding off my gear linkage and changing gear is very stiff!

i have an adjustable decat on the same exhaust no prob at all and loads of adjustment on the length of that decat.
