Wot do you think of this setup? I noticed it for sale on the hondatech forum. Saw it in the flesh and it is beautifull! Does seem like a beast!

Up for sale is my monster boosted Integra Type R DC2. As you can see from the spec list, this Integra has had no stone left unturned or expense spared in any way. The car has been worked on by some of the most respected motor specialists in Scotland including The Garage Wishaw, Extreme Motorsport, Andrew Gallagher, and Performancetek, who have all made sure the car has been maintained properly in my time of ownership. The car was mapped by Marc at the Garage and makes 396bhp and 267lbs / ft torque @ 1.0bar.

The clocks shows 103k but the speedo was converted at 77k in 2003 when the car was imported to the UK. Overall the shell has therefore covered roughly 70k miles but the engine (which has obviously been rebuilt) has only covered around 4000 miles since it was built to the spec listed below.

The car was re-sprayed in March this year in Supra Bronze metallic and as you can see from the pictures is an amazing colour which makes it stand out from the usual masses of Championship white Integra’s. This mated with genuine satin black work emotions and all the carbon fibre makes for a unique yet subtle look.

I am a moderator on here and have been a Honda nut for about 5 years now. This really is my dream car and is only being sold as my band are going to make a proper go at things next year and this is a luxury I will just have to do without. The full build up for the car is available on here for anyone who wants to properly research the car. Please don’t contact me if you are a young driver who does not appreciate what this car is or what it is capable of as you will most likely end up in a box. Also do not confuse this with other boosted Honda’s with EBay Turbo kits slapped onto a 100k+ engine. This car demands a lot of respect and will suit someone like myself who absolutely loves Hondas but wants the power of other cars on other marks which provide similar power (Supra, Skyline, Rx7 etc…) but with the reliability that Honda is renowned for.

Anyway, enough of the sales pitch; I believe the spec list speaks for itself. I wont be patronising (unlike some ad’s I read) and list how much all of this has cost but if you know your Honda’s you should be able to figure it out for yourself. A pretty penny. Anyway, heres the pics!

some older shots before ther work emotions and the R headlights.

A better shot showing the colour.

PLEASE NOTE….The car was imported in 2003 and is a 1996 spec. The DVLA assigned the car its new registration by the registration date when the original owner took his private plate off (instead of giving it an N/P registration to correspond with it being a 96 spec). Dont fill my for sale thread up with discussions about how much tax is. It costs £103 for 6 months just like any other dc2 and is still classed as PLG.

My asking price is £10,000

The car is located in Glasgow. MOT till June 2009 and taxed till May 2009. I might be open to a p/x on a Honda of a lesser value such as a civic, del sol etc… (up to £2k) but as stated, need to sell the car before I go on tour early next year. Car can also be sold with the original rocker cover if you wish

I've probably missed some stuff out but if I remember anythign else iill update. Any questions, fire away, Someone give her a good home.

It's a nice car, all that work and its a shame it has a non ball bearing turbo... where are the pics???

What kind of turbo does it have? is a ball bearing turbo more effective? pics didnt seem to work! I'll try and upload them another way.

What do you think of crower parts? read mixed reviews really. it does have good numbers but like you said, if it had a ball bearing turbo it would prob be even higher?!

It has a Precision SC61 turbo. Ball bearing do not make more power they are just more efficient, they spool sooner and are much more linear, easier to control on half throttle etc... but if its a drag car it really does not matter.

£10k was a great price for that setup. There was about £20k work there!

dont know why theyd justify selling it :(

Nah pimpin just loved the look and spec of it! He said he was selling because of personal reasons, not too sure. Yea it is sold now
