Decent sat nav's

Just wondered what ou guys think are good sat nav's any help appreciated

Garmin or tomtom are usually a pretty safe bet, some of the newer ones have live updates and traffic progression systems which sound cool!

I've got a garmin and it costs an absolute bomb to update it. £80 or something, there may be other ways to get these updates thou

Garmin Nuvi 1690...... is what i have been using. its a big screen about the size of an iphone

you have to pay a small subscription and this is for live data like speed camera's and things like that...

you can reconditioned one's for about £170...

Iv got a tom-tom xl version.
Think there's newer models xl live, which looks no bad.

i have had them all and the one i like the most is magellan
