Did they ever make a vogue silver '96 spec R?

Just out of curiosity, I know you can get the silver '98 specs, just wondering about a '96 as I've never saw one.

To be honest I love silver DC2's, rare as hell though!

Was very close to bringing this beasty over from Japan but the agent reckoned the condition/price didn't warrant the trip to UK being off a dealer etc...

See, I've never came across a '96 coupe, although have saw a db8 is vsm when I think about, py in definitely 98+.

I'm near sure one of the gran turismo had a vsm 96 in the used cars section lol.

I know you can get a 95-98 db8 in silver so I should think dc2 would be available as well. I am sure I have seen then in Japan.
