DIY stock airbox modification!

Hey ek9er bros, I've decided to beef up my intake setup the DIY way by just cuttin the intake plastic pipe where it makes the U-turn at the lowest part of the engine.....my question is...how do I get to it?....do I really have to take off the entire front bumper or please tell me there's an easire way!

heard sum dude say his bumper clips break easily sure as hell don't want that happenen!

Take off the wheel, then remove the arch liner - couple of plastic clips, that or the bumper.

Just pull the bumper off, i can get them off in about 3 mins .
4 screws, 2 10mm bolts and 7 clips.

got it out successfully by just jackin up the car, pullin out 4 clips and 2 screws!

i actually timed myself taking of my ek4 front bumper.
2 minutes and 33 seconds mate. that whilst studying a haynes manual first to get the time down lol twas good fun. only bastards are the bolts under neath at the front.
