Drag raing mods!!!! help needed

I have a fairly good list of modifications so far. I'm entering a drag raing competition in april. Just wondering wwhat tyre's are useful? What else can i do at a cheap cost to my pocket to get more power???

List so far

b18c, dc sports manifold, j's racing de cat, buddyclub spec 3 cat back, itg maxogen airbox, exeedy hyper carbon clutch n flywheel, no air con, boot fully stripped.


I know to take the back seats out n possibly the passenger seat but i want to know other stuff i can do that would make the difference between winning and losing???? ne help much appreciated??? especially on the tire's cause the street ones i have are near the end of their life. is it possible to put 205/50/15 or 205/45/15 on stock rims and would they make a difference???
 
How about a turbo or some nos, 100 octane will help to.. Just remember hondas don't make good drag cars. They just make cheap drag cars. Especially when u go heads up with a 1000 hp alcohol fueled beast.
Oh and I almost forgot. Try some drag tires. I recomend Hoosier if that's how you spell it. They are very sticky.
 
nos would be the cheapest way to go fast, as far as tires:

bf goodridge gforce t/a drag radial, it comes in size 225/50/15 as well as wider and narrower sizes.

there's different classes in the drag racing so i won't be goin against ne mad cars. can some one give me the make and model of good tire's that i can use on the roads after???

nitto nt555r can be driven on the street but it only comes in a 275/60/15 i believe and you need at least a 7.5" rim for that...
 
Get some Toyo R888's in that case, let the tyre pressure down too, also use smaller wheels with bigger walled tyres

come on guys he said DRAG racing, not road racing, the R888 is a road racing tire, it has a stiffer side wall which is not really ideal for drag racing. and as far as lowering PSI that wont really do anything with R888's. lowering PSI works on drag tires as they have a very soft sidewall, usually biased plys...

it would have to be hidden alright otherwise i'd be put in the next higher category. I'm gonna trip every panel out the car that i can, and back seats and passenger seat. Bring only two cd's for the drive too.
