does anyone know if there even is any drift spec style exhausts for the ek, (exhaust tilted towards the side of the car, rather than just straight out)...

if you do, please let me know as ive been looking for one for agggeeesss :nerv:

I've seen a few but I know there all custom. Besides for cosmetic purposes (which I'm sure is the main reason) it really does no good. Your now adding a extra bend, more material and reducing ground clearance as is has to swoop down before angling back up and you might have a muffler that likes to speak to the pavement. Plus I think the straight ones look good, Spoon N1 to be exact ;)

They look class!

yeh ive been thinking about the spoon n1, but ive only a 1.4 ej9 and no point getting a 500 pound exhaust until i convert it to a b16b after xmas
just want something for looks really, and sound... has to be loud and sound good bouncin off the limiter :nice:

Well I mean if you do get the Spoon right off the bat you save your self the money and hassle to have to get this one custom made or find another one, then switch over to the Spoon after. Better to just do it in the first place IMO.

Check out the megan racing drift spec cat back system.
Never had any experience with one, but apparently meant to have quality welds:nice:

yeh ive seen the megan racing drift spec exhaust, but i cant find any in the uk :(
if you know of any, let me know :thanks:

if you buy a under axle unit you really see improvements and the tilted exhaust makes all the sense then...

Apexi N1 (under LCA version), RSR GT2, amuse R1 (little to expensive I should think), in addition the the above,
there are quiet a few really or you could get a custom made system exactly as you would like for similar money to some of the other options.

I had a Megan on my EK4. Its manifold back not catback. It didnt clear the rear ARB so it rattled a lot and i had to wrap it with heatwrap or silicon hose on the bend and then cut the rear lip enough for it to not then rattle on the bumper. Looked alright though, pretty loud and quite raspy.
