my opinion is slotted and holes are useless, blanks are the best to use.
although i must say that i use slotted rotors for my daily because they look awesome
should get slotted brake pads instead of rotor if arguing about expelled gases under extreme heat which modern pads no longer have. this way you have more mass to absorb heat on your rotor.
drilling can be beneficial as it may increase surface area (more surface area, means you can dissipate more heat from rotor to air) as long as the diameter of hole is smaller than thickness of rotor.
this should really be combined with curved vane rotors as straight vane rotors are not that effective in ventilating air.

oh btw, brake dust dont quite channel through the slotted groove of slotted rotor, they just sit there. same with slot on brake pads. i was cleaning wheels the other day and noticed that theres brake dust build up in the groove and i cleaned it with tooth brush.
maybe it's because i only daily drive it, might've been different on track.
