>> DV8's EK9 <<

Got my hands on a AEM UEGO Air/Fuel gauge. Wanted to mount the sensor as a secondary but sadly the bung is in the wrong place on the tegiwa decat (presumably its for a different manifold).

My mates kindly machined a new stainless bung, drilled and welded it for me (for some reason the AEM bung is mild steel...).

More updates once I get the gauge fitted.

Sensor for AFR is already fitted (see above).

Fitted pix soon... hopefully the Turbo build up pics will start arriving soon :)

Epic Build, think i will be going down the turbo route myself, you really went all out with internals, ill probably use the b18c4 with just ARP headstuds! Goodluck with it!

Great build can't wait to see how it turns out.. Will be turbo'ing a B16a soon myself.. Let us know how you get on with the goautoworks kit!!

Thanks mate, it was burning oil past the rings so an overbore was needed anyway. OEM oversize was only slightly cheaper than Forged and a bit harder to get hold of so just went for it

Awesome build dude, looking forward to upcoming updates. :)

Thanks mate!

Will do, not far of fitting it. The quality seems great btw!

Quick update. Got the AFR fitted temporarily just to keep an eye on the fuel while running in. AEM seems to be a great piece of kit so far!

Awsome build mate, Looking foreward to seeing the finished item! The aem widebands are a good bit of kit, had mine for nearly 20k now with no issues :nice:

Moved the Oil and Water Gauges over to the main cluster today so i can have the matching AEM boost and AFR gauges sat together in one place. :blabla:

Only a small amount of cutting require... LOL

Boost added in too now... just need the turbo to go with it. LOL

Those gauges look very smart together,

Nice to see how dedicated you are to this car, how long you've had it and all the transformations it's been through,

What ever happened to the other engine you built up?

Thanks mate :nice:

Sadly the Built stroked B16B spun a bearing around the nurburgring and i had to have the car shipped home while getting a lift back with StevenEK9...

Tidy job done on installing those gauges, nice work:nice:

Thanks mate, cheers for the help with the ECU side setup for the AFR too. Thats all cut, plumbed in and ready to connect up when i install the S300.

Oh man that must of cost a few quid, that's seriously unlucky

I'm a member of the German ADAC so it only cost me the membership. That's why i'd never go to germany without it.

They even shipped it over in a covered car transporter:

Finally started the assembly of the turbo now... test assembly for test fit:

Test fit to head to check clearance... only a notch needed adding to the block to give clearance.

Bonus is the kit even works with my full width koyo rad with plenty of clearance. The fan might need some tweaking though...
