Been looking at the breather setup and decided i'm going to run something like this utilising my existing can but tapping it into the rear of the block:

better to just run a breather filter on the head Tim

you can then run the 2 x block vents to the can, then run a T-piece in one of the vents and tie the drain back into one of the lines

this is the way that Endyn run their breather kits

have a search online, you can buy OEM honda breather ports for the block, think they are from a prelude?!

note that as well as that big hole you have pointed out as "blocked off" (there are plugs available that you drift into the hole with a bit of hondabond round the edges), there is also a port you will have to remove and block with a small NPT plug

here you go, this was my block after i installed the endyn kit

can see the breather box plug bottom left of the pic and also the NPT port you have to plug on the bottom right of the pic

Of you don't mind me asking what comes in the rebuild kit and how much is it ? My 5th is crunchy

Cheers steven, will look into it. :) By blocked off i meant i was going to plug ze hole. lol

I went for the carbon synchro ring, seal and bearing kit from synchrotech. However i'd add a synchro sleeve to yours for 5th if your having probs just to make sure - I added 1-2 & 3-4 sleeves to mine as those were causing issues.

Got H-Tune to add the boost components to my S300 - also added my boost solenoid wiring to my conversion harness - Great service from Scott :)

Was also tired of IACV and idling issues so bit the bullet and bought a brand new IACV from Honda.

For ease of installation Skunk/Grams make these plug and play injector harnesses so i snapped some up just for ease of wiring.

And finally some new ARP flywheel bolt... though it might need these with the extra power and the old ones were looking a bit tired.

$200 plus shipping from the states. Bare in mind I'm running B18C4 head which uses a different IACV to B16B and B18C-R so it's more readily available and quite a bit cheaper.

Out of interest what were your idle issues?
As mines playing up an hanging at 1500, seemingly more and more often

Was just unsettled and dipping when depressing the clutch. Tbh it might not even be the IACV but with everything I'm spending I just wanted a new one. Lol

Gave the bay a good once over ready to receive the new forged engine in a few weeks. :)

All sorts, Bit of GUNK for the really greasy stuff, Autoglym Engine Degreaser for the lighter stuff, Bilberry Wheel Cleaner for the weird stuff.

Then a good polish of any painted bits and exposed metal. :)
