I searched high and low for this car as its the exact spec I wanted, a car that wasn't just a pretty face but was backed up with all the service history and very good mileage that in my opinion makes this the perfect example of an M3.

This particular car has been owned by several members on the forum (which i tracked and asked a few questions about prior to buying)
The rear boot floor (or subframe as often referred to) suffered the dreaded 'cracks' and was replaced in 2012 at an approximate cost of £6000!
This for me was ultimate piece of mind that it had been done properly.

Standard was the key for me so i could stamp my own mark on the car with some choice parts. Fortunately I have kept the original parts as i understand everyones taste varies.

I have owned the car for about a year now, and in that time I have replaced all the little niggly bits that have bothered me.

I updated the rear lights and number plate bulbs to LED and replaced the lenses. (still have originals)

I changed the fornt and side grills for black versions as i feel the chrome made the car look quite dated. ( still have originals)

I replaced the wishbones, steering arms and bushes as they had seen better days. (still have originals)

The wheels have been refurbished and new badges put on, there is not a mark on them. ( I also have a set of 18'' if these are preferred)

The calipers have been painted black

The car has been lowered slightly, had Bimmec wheel spacers fitted and had proper 4 wheel alignment at Dayona Autos in Congleton. In my opinion it sits perfectly now, however i do have the original springs if preferred.

I have upgraded the OEM amplifier and added an Aux cable to the cubby hole on the drivers side. In this day and age not being able to connect your phone is a nightmare.

I have installed smoked indicators and replaced the headlight lenses with brand new items to freshen the front end up. (again, still have originals)

The Tail pipes have been powder coated satin black as i felt the chrome looked quite dated and didn't match the rest of the car. These are easily reverted back and are not very expensive to buy replacements if so be it.

The exhaust clamps have been replaced as the originals had seen better days (common issue)

There are Goodridge brake hoses installed to give better braking performance (15 year old rubber ones had probably seen better days)

The car recently had INSP2 so all fluids were changed, on top of this i replaced the coilpacks and plugs for piece of mind. Valve clearances were checked and adjusted and are now within BMW specification. I had the Brake fluid changed for ATE also.
I also have receipts for new calipers within the extensive history the car has.

The car has been machine polished and sealed with polish and wax. The interior has had a Glyptone treatment to bring the leather back to looking its best.

Service history, I think this is always going to be a key thing with any M3 and I would hope anyone would be satisfied with this -

Everything with the car is up to date, MOT is due Decemeber 2016, its a car ready to hop in and be loved by a new owner. With regards to the subframe as mentioned it was replaced and has been checked last time it was on the ramps. The Vanos was also checked and all is working as it should.

The private plate will be removed prior to sale (was a birthday present, these are cheap enough through DVLA website if you wish to keep the 'm3' prefix, Car will revert back to LE02 VVN)

I have taken a lot into consideration with the pricing and i feel the price is a very appropriate figure to be asking, i feel the finish, condition and history of the car deserves it.
I feel the pricing of these cars will only go 1 way in the future for good examples. Sure you can pick one up for less, but i imagine it's going to need things!

I am more than happy to take people out in it and chat M3, but you'll need proof of fully comprehensive insurance, a driving licence and the value of the car before you get to drive it.

Viewing is in Southport. (not a million miles from Liverpool or Preston)

Now for the best bit, the pictures!

Happy to take any pictures of anything in particular you would like and happy to walk round/ start the car via skype if you're too far to come and see the car.

:)

also forgot to mention the front brakes were upgraded to CSL spec (larger disks and carriers)

CSL brake upgrade is very expensive, the carriers alone are a fortune from Bmw.

Looks a lovely car mate, GLWTS.
