ebay manifold!

its for a civic 1.4 gl 1991 and its no known brand jst a plain stainless steel manifold!
cheers!

oh... your talking a header sure if your on a budget it will work just fine

I have been told by a exhaust shop about a ebay manifold... He said as long as you de-bur all to ports they are a good buy even if you have to have it welded better for strength... he said he would have to charge me $800+ for a turbo manifold because of the tig welding time put in... Its worth the money

They are fine mate, I had one on my old ek3 and its still going strong 2 years later!! :)

thanks very much, and should i see the a little extra bhp, even if its nt as much as a highly branded 1?

Yeah should definitly free up a few ponnies. Standard ones are very restrictive

should it be ok to use with the standard back box and wat kind of sound would it giv with the manny and a decat with standard back box?

yep exactly the same as me had it 2 years now and still shines up perfect with a bit of autosol. if your on a budget go for it :nice:

i was thinking of buying one from ebay for my ek9 r, what addvice can you tel me about it any hp differences and what buyer should i seek for any advices 10q!!! really appritiate your help cheers

Wouldn't put one near my ek9 but for the lesser models I doubt they put as much strain on them. Up to you I guess but I prefer paying more for good quality.

i was about to buy one an ebay manifold that is, what are the differences you noticed good sound note, bhp differences oviously an owner of an ebay manifold;) :D and which buyer should i seek for :thanks:

You realise most (if not all) of these cheap ebay manifolds are made from recycled metals which will be alot weaker and brittle especially after constant heating up and cooling down. I doubt they cost must more than £30-£40 from suppliers in China, you really want to risk putting that crap on your car? Rather you than me.
