EG6 compared to EK9 insurance wise ??

anyone had insurance on an eg6 before , what are they like expensive in comparison to an ek9 . This is me purely being lazy as I hate insurance shopping .also what group are they any help appreciated .
 
Eg6 will be cheaper, by how much I'm not sure. Give bell insurance a quick phone.
 
I paid £1000 for 10 months when i had my EG6.
I was 22 with this price i'm now 23.
2 claims against me ( when ifirst started out ) they add up to £1500
car was insured for 6000 miles a year
Car value was set at £4500 as it had a lot of parts on it but to them it was standard.....

i had an eg6, i was 20 at the time and a claim against me and i think i was paying £160 a month :angry2: but im when i was 23 it went down to £600 a year and i compared it to an ek9 and it wasnt that much higher tbh. think it wasd only £700 a year.
 
what were you on the 9 donny, double that ? who you insure with at the moment .

Dude who are you insured with? I think I may have to downgrade to an EG6 sir because ive just bought a house but cant find anyone that can beat the price im paying for the DC2 lol :angry:

i also wana know what company your with, i got a years ncb and payin just under a grand for the year and thats TPFT.

id be more worried about the price of fuel now :shocked:
 
insured an eg6 a few days ago with bell for £740 quid . £200 less than my ek9 . Ive been driving 4 years and have 2 yrs no claims .. was good for me .
 
Cheers mate. Going to have to give them a ring I think to get a better quote because my quotes arent near that atm lol ;)
