EG6 K20 build mapped by Vtec6000

Great car mate! Car is awesome!

I don't know if it was your idea but the way you placed your power steering setup is amazing!!! a lot more hidden and no chopping of the hood... any chance you another mount? :D

Wasn't my idea at all man, I told the mechanic who was buildin it that I wanted power steering in the car wen it was finished an I got it, I don't no if it was his idea or if he seen it somewhere else's, but I hav it now an that's all that matters, as ya probably no on a kswap on an Ek or dc2 the power steering pump can be fitted in the normal place that its gotten in the dc5 or the ep3, but in the eg there is not enough bonnet clearance to do this, so the mechanic made a custom bracket to fit it down lower, an sorry I don't have a spare one!:D

really good idea, like it because its hidden, hate the pipe poking out of the top..

Should ask your mechanic to make another ;)

Wouldn be that hard to make, all it is, is 1.5" angle iron with 4 holes drilled in it an mounted where the aircon should b,

Looks like a tidy job, under sealed and expecially the power steering, normally you see lads going down the electronic route or the big head aproach "ah ye dont need it". It ruins it as a daily without it, imo.
Spoon caliper would look mint behind them wheels, match the body colour.

Well it was rare enough to find a rust free eg6 in such good condition I want ta keep it that way for as long as possible, so undersealing was a must as the weather over here is ****! An I couldn drive a car without power steering, I'm gone too used to it at dis stage, yeah them spoon brakes would look the business an er lad, but with the price of em, an the plans I hav coming up for the car, there gona havta wait awhile!:nice:

Another small update, picked up this tonight, it's a BDL 70mm throttle body,
An k-tuned throttle position sensor, havta get the rbc port matched next,

Did you get your ktuned tps from the states or is there somebody local that supplies ktuned parts? Throttle body does look the part! I think I saw earlier in your thread a half length radiator for your kswap, do you still have it? for sale? :p

The tps wan on the throttle body when I bought it, but the lad I got it off said he got it from the states, an the half rad is long gone, shoulda held onto it as the only thing I'm missin now is the ktuned kswap rad!! Hopefully order it the start of the new year,

well done, epic idea for the power steering pump, :) do you still have the spare k20 or
did you sell it?
