Just said I'd make a thread on my Milano red ek4 not great at this sort of thing but il try to update as best as possible as I go along. It's my first Honda and I must say I'm loving it so far Ive had a few Nissan pulsar vzr's and in many a Honda so it was time to get my own anyway here is a few pictures of how it sat the morning after I brought it home

The spec as I bought it:
Carbon slug intake
Standard mani with decat ek9 centre section with a straight pipe backbox
Ek9 mats
Ek9 spoiler
Spoon style mirrors
Rota grids
Ek9 grill
Ek9 rear lip
Mugen front lip
Nardi steering wheel
D1 spec wheel nuts
Front tow strap
Rear Benen tow hook
Hid lights
Split n sprayed headlights
Boot strut
Front extra strut not sure what brand if anyone can shed light on it sticker on it but half worn away

I could see potential in it with a few subtle mods and with the thought of less is more in my head I got to work. The headlights where very cloudy so got to work on them, compounded the paint, removed stickers plus tow straps!

I went about removing the stickers underneath the bonnet which were a pain in the ass to take of but looks much better now I also went about removing the needless air con pump and accilaries in the bay which leaves it much more roomy and looks a lot better with it removed imo

I also sold the carbon slug intake and replaced it with the factory ek4 air box with a new filter

It's going to be a slow build but il be looking for a set of wheels in the meantime hopefully sprint hart cp035 buddyclub first gen p1 or regas and more sir goodies like rear badge and facelift mats have already purchased this rare piece I didn't think I would be able to get my hands on didn't understand how hard these are to get until I wanted one

So that will be sprayed along with a standard rear spoiler as il be going to try and make it look standard exterior with a few subtle mods. All ideas welcome would like to here feedback also!

Very nice pal, she cleaned up well! So hard to find nice clean rust free facelift sir ,really like your sir, still fresh in it!

Thanks man yea it's very clean rust wise which is always a good base to start with...rust is a bit of a phobia of mine:lol:

So I went about removing the rear lip and no doubt there was tiger seal used but it was put on before the lip was fitted and had only stuck to the bumper so the rear bumper will need a small bit off a freshen up to look 100% but I'm a lot happier with the way it looks now

You done a good job with very little left ,that stuff is a nightmare to remove!

Iv not seen meny red sir2s in such nice shape, make sure you seal underbody and arches

Lovely red sir... pretty rare in red

Keep the updates coming

Beautiful ! The lights came out well , keep it up ;)
If it were up to me I'd use the amber side markers much nicer
Than clear . But that's just me !

Looks savige man take off those d1 nuts tho before they come off them selves all those aluminum wheel nuts break an come off just a warning. Car it self looks lovely :nice:

Lovely car man. Milano red Ek's are hard got now. Seen it on Donedeal a few months back. Seen it in the flesh once or twice too!

So small bit of an update got it through test was delighted. compliments from the tester too which is always nice to hear. Picked up a standard spoiler too so took into spraying my grill and the spoiler

Don't have picture of it fitted just yet but looks to be a good match so il take a few snaps when u get it washed, started the spoiler but ran out of primer on the second coat so will have to be left for another night unfortunately

Will have pictures of how it turned out in the next evening or two until I get the time again to finish it off.
