V plate facelift, up against a few Clios.

Just wondered if it was anyone off here?
 
Was me. Well impressed. Fastest time on the day over both classes, Inc 3.2l porsche, 182s with cams and no interior ect

Was this Smeatharpe? I didn't know they had trackdays there, where did you book and how come you were timed if you don't mind me asking?

well worth £20, about 50 seconds of 2 roundabout like obstacles a chicane and 2 straights.

just a no frills airfield sprint with two classes and 4 timed runs each then as many as you want!!

led most of the day (46 secs i think) until the chap who won the last two years found a nice line pipped my time! :drive: not standing for that shizzle so tried a few different lines and came half a second under.. :ek9:
 
So were either of you two in Lyme Regis high street today at about 11am going up the hill?

i live in lyme regis but my car is off the road but a friend off mine has a 9 with a carbon bonnet might off been him as he lives in lyme to:D.
 
Yes this sounds like a bit of fun. Did you need any kind of racing licence as there was timing involved, what sort of price was it for the day (£20 lap?).
Post the next one up in "up and comming events".

Yeh I'd be up for it, anything to push the 9 a little would be fun. :)
 
The next one is on the 4th of September, it's always pretty popular from what I've heard so gets booked fast. It's £125 for a full day but I think a half day is around £60. I was going to try Keevil as my second ever trackday but if people want to do Colerne then I don't mind doing it again, it was brilliant last time.

Only just remembered I posted this thread. I wasn't actually there dude - a friend of mine took his K reg Clio with 172 engine there and mentioned your car was really quick!

Does any1 know when the next track day is at dunkerswell airfield?? I only live round the corner and I didn't even know they did them!!
