Hey there chaps!

I was wondering if anyone can give me some info on the stock steering wheel.

I have a (00 ek9) so the steering wheel has an airbag with it, i prefer the wheel without an airbag. Can i directly fit one from a 96/97 dc2? If not, what do i need to modify so that it fits and how do i remove the stock wheel without blowing the airbag?

Thanks alot

You can disconnect the battery and then remove the steering wheel, don't understand why you'd want a non SRS one though?

i would far rather have the standard ek9 one and if you selling it pm me lol

The non airbag wheel is 350mm diameter where the airbag one is 360mm... 10mm may not seem much but i MUCH prefer the size of my momo montecarlo over the stock airbag wheel and my momo is a 350mm, mates 96 spec DC2 has a non airbag wheel in it and it does feel nice also

DC2 Integra wheels WILL NOT fit an EK civic, the splines are different sizes, DC2 wheels fit EG civics, DC5/EP3/S2000/accord wheels will fit an EK

Thanks alot for ur help, I guess il have to find one from an ek then...if anyone's got one for sale let me know please!!

I much prefer the non SRS wheel cos like stevenek9 said, its smaller and its much nicer to drive with, i feel like im driving a bus with the stock one!lol!

Dont get me wrong, its nice to look at, but just tooooo big.

thanks again

I've seen EK9's with the non-srs steering wheel.
Can you buy this steering from Honda?
It looks exactly like the DC2 one.
