One for the MOD'S, i was on one of the other forums the other day that ive been on for a few years and that forum has a Messenger function a bit like MSN/FaceBook etc.....

was thinking it maybe a good idea for EK9.ORG ??????

Or has this been tried before???
 
Yeh a bike forum I'm on has a status thing that can be commented on on the home page.. I think it will help reduce Repeat post of things that have been covered.

Could be wrong but I think there used to be a chat type thing on the home page, few years back I believe...I'm not sure to be honest......Lol

I think there was one on here before a long time ago but it wasn't used properly so rvm removed it.
 
I can imagine it was/would be abused. However there are options with most Cbox clients that disable link's posted. Would be interesting to trial this though, most host's offer this as a free feature so shouldn't be too hard to apply. It would need monitoring though, however there appears to be a mod active almost 24/7 now so shouldn't cause to much issue for monetisation.

I'm definitely for it as a "trial" first. :)
 
Or how about a ek9.org app?or made avaliable on the tapatalk app like civiclife and civic type r owners plus more civic/Honda forums are?
 
Yeah we did have a kind of chat box before a couple years back but it got abused by spammers :angry:
 
Anybody thought of an IRC channel?

Pretty hard to get abused and a LOT of privacy options available.
