EK9.org Nurburgring trip?????


Those who have been, bazza etc post up some reasonably priced recomendations, dont mind a little drive to the place, just some decent safe parking with access to a bit of life at night, if we can get a couple of choices to match different budgets? :)
 
This is starting to sound like a very good idea ek9's high speeds and german beer ! but not at the same time lol

ok maybe its a bit pricey then to do that :p lol depending when it is i reckon il be in for this cus im deffo going sometime next year il just have to check when my mate was thinking of going see if it co-insides :)
 
Edgar's place in Herschbroich is 27 Euro per night, per person including breakfast.

There are cheap, cheap places like camping but its not ideal. The ring is tiring at best, you need quality sleep:)

Google map "herschbroich" Google Maps and it comes straight up. Its about 3km from the Ring/Nurburg and 1.5km from Adenau.

This gives you good access to food/drink in the evenings. You can even walk to Adenau town center in 20 mins.

Great allways good to have someone on hand for translations. But to be honest i have been to germany twice and both times nearly everyone spoke a bit of english. Certainly better than my german lol.

dependant of funds i'd be up for this wouldn't mind chasing a few higher powered cars round there.
 
Dammit - I just wrote a long post and clicked submit but it logged me out! I'll repost it up tomorrow. Basically its turn up and drive, ring opening times will be announced in February time.
 
Pension Muhlenhardt...is there facilities to leave a spare set of rims etc? Our list of ringers is growing, we will lose a couple im sure due to dates/money/other etc but in case this is booked, any other guest houses people have used in a decent location? :nice:

Loads mate. I'll put up various options and realistic costings later for a 5 day trip.:)
