Hi I done a strate swap a cople of months ago for a ek9, swaped my 58 plate corsa 1.6 Sri turbo and I don't regret it one little bit. The ek9's handling is 10 times better than the corsa and a lot faster and so much more fun to drive. Any way I took it of the road about 3 weeks ago and striped it to a bare shell apart from the windscreen and 2 side windows but Thay will been out before the respray.i am also getting a roll cage fitted, ati roll bars subframe etc etc powder coated, new meister r coilovers and front and rear camber adjusters and a set of 15 inch rota slipstreams in mat black. I am thinking of going k20 since its striped to a bare shell but not to sure yet. I will put some up At the weekend because the ones I have on my phone are shite. Any opinion would be great

Tried to get a insurance quot for when my ek9 goes back on the road but keep getting told the car has to many modifications on it wtf. Any one know who mite insure me?

Or there was a specialist on here that claimed to be good but haven't heard from anyone getting quotes

Just about ready for the full re-spray , but was thinking of meby spraing it black but thought I would see what you's guys thought first? and would it put the value of the car down if and when I come to selling it?

As long as its a good job mate itl nt devalue it! Imo starlight black 9s are the nicest anyway! Uv alot of work ahead of u mate bt best of luck with it!

Good good does any one have a paint cod for a black ek9?

Championship white = NH-0

Sunlight/phoenix yellow = Y-56

Vouge silver = NH-583M

Starlight black = NH-592P

If your getting a re spray PLEASE get a decent one,
Don't leave the bay white if you go black etc.

It will be a good re-spray don't worry lol. There is no way I would leave the engine bay white if I spray it black.
