ek9 race base vs ek9 rx

what's the story with these and what's the advantages of the race base over the normal ek9 and disadvantages

race base has a horrible interior no recaros etc.rx is same as any other ek9 just has differeny radio pedals and things like that.i guess the main advantage of the race base is its light weight,i think it this model they used when they claimed the 0-60 time of 5.7sec.correct me if im wrong

i can say my race base
vtec on 5900rpm vtec off 8500rpm

so is different.

I agree with ek9racebase. mine is like that too. i stuck some evo recaros in mine.
They have no abs/electrics/sound deadning/power steering/airbags/grey dash/no recaros/no tints.

Much different than a ek9 & ek9 rx.

basic model of EK9 ready to be pulled apart and built into a race car.
So had no luxury, recaros etc.

So a base car for a race.

rx is the luxurt model.. if u can say its luxury... its still as loud and harsh as an ek9, just has more extras lol

the race base model has exactly the same engine like all other ek9s
the only diference was the interior,extras and rims.

have in mind that the race base was cheaper in japan than the ek4.(i know plp they paid more for a race base than for a normal)

the only extra the race base model had was the Power-steering the models with PS weighted 1050kg vs 1040kg the ones without PS ,the full ek9 was 1090kg

if an ek9 has SRS,ABS,air condition or electric windows is not race base.

i dont see any reason to buy a racebase when the prices are similar to the normal ek9 ,if you want you can strip it by yourself and sell the extra parts.
