ek9 rear seat into ek4 SiR

I believe the mounts are different, never done it myself but apparently all you need to do is transfer them over from your EK4 rear seat. I am sure there are plenty people here who have done it and will shed some light into it

it takes a little time but well worth it. I have done it to my ej9. however I had Vti rear seats, basically the same as yours. not too hard but there are some sharp edges.

1st - The bottom part of the seat (the foam you sit on should bolt straight in)

2nd - Because the mounts are different on the ek9 back support part of the seat, your going to have to sacrifice your ek4/sir ones in order for them to fit. Both seats have a metal frame at the back of them. you will need to remove the seat cover and foam from both sets of the seats.

3rd - You then take the vti/ek4 METAL part of the seat and insert them into the ek9 foam (make sure you put the right metal part back in, it should have bolt holes where it should be mounted, not a bar!)

4th - Simple case of putting the metal clips back after making sure the fabric is firmly stretched back.

5th- should be able to bolt straight in.

Hope that answered you question. =]

I think they are the same as your car is the ek4 sir jap model and the ek9 seat are from a jap civic. I know with the dc2s seats the jap ones will only fit in a jap civic and the seats from a UK dc2 will only be a straight fit into a UK civic
why don't you try get dc2 seats much nicer.

Sorted! Got my ek9 rear seat fitted. Straight fit no problem at all. Thanks guys.
I don't think dc2 rear seat fit a ek collie, it needs to be modify to be fitted

Cool and yeh dc2 ones need modded, the base is far to small for an ek.

I bought the rear seats from a jdm dc2 for my ek9. Not put them in yet. Put from looking at them they look very close. Will let yous know how I get on with them anyway. The dc2 ones look the business with the red stitching.
