Hi. Ive just fitted one of these replicas, but there is no way to secure the bottom. It just seems to sit in the groove and is not fastened like the original with screws. Could this be a problem and what is the best way to secure it?

Improvise!!!

I can't say exactly what I'd do as its kinda difficult to picture the exact mounting points/surfaces (I've never removed my grille) but I'd be thinking something along the lines of drilling holes in the new grill to match up with where the OEM screws would go. Failing that, using self tapping screws or double sided tape to secure it??

Just see what you have to hand and make it work man!

In the past i just fitted the replica grille seated in the groove and had no problems at all. Didnt pop out in over a year.

But as mentioned, if you really must have it secured, use what ever you can find and bodge something!

Its only the top screws and the bottom is just sit on. I think it might has this small thing that comes out from the grill that looks like its meant to clip on but it actually just sits there. With my ek4 i just let it sit there and its very secure. otherwise glue the bottom and screw the top??? i dunno lol...

double sided tape and push it into the groove in the bumper and the oem screws in the top jobs a goodun

Drill a hole then zip tie that baby.. that's what happens when you don't go OEM
