guys how heavy is the Ek9 shift knob? also does it stick up pretty high? I want to get one and i have a USDM hatch so its a weird shift knob. I tried a skunk2 shift knob but it sticks up higher than stock knob (btw I am not using short shifter)

The Skunk2 one is about 440grams if IIRC...the ITR is probably around 300 or maybe even less.

The ITR/CTR one is slightly shorter than the Skunk2 one as well, but you will find it higher than the stock one when installed.

IIRC - If I Recall Correctly

I'm out at a trackday all day tomorrow :D but will weigh the shift knob when I get home if no-one else has done it.

In terms of how high it sits, I actually find the shifter a bit of a reach down, I'm not massively tall (6' 0") but probably just used to the RX-7 which was about a hand-span away from the steering wheel...

Cheers,
Alex

I would go for the accord euro-r shift knob from jdmland.com. Its machined aluminum and it has a nice weight to it. I have 2 myself.

post up the link dino! i know you have it ;) i like that one too, i use the skunk2 personally though... Greddy also has a nice weighted one thats round if you prefer that.

I know this is another old thread revival but i was reading another thread and it got me thinking. My shift knob seems to weigh a ton. I mean not literally a ton but its pretty heavy. Maybe a kilo? I thought titanium was light and strong...unless i dont have the real titanium one :/
