Ek9 Vs Eg6

i will start this , see i'm in love in eg6 but also love the shape of the ek let me know which model of honda you like the most ?????????????????????????????

since this is ek9.org im pretty sure most of us would say ek9
 
Let me make it different for you........:D
What would you choose to buy(if you had the money), EG6 or EK9? :p
 
i had a EG6 with a fair few mods and loved the looks and feel of it. plus they go like the **** :D

but the EK9 is just ***! its just all right the way it is and you dont need to do anything to it. forget mods just put a standard EG6 next to an EK9 and theres no way you can not take the EK9.
 
In my opinion both cars are fantastic !!!! I had the chance to own a black sir2 eg6, beautiful condition and drove so smooth.

Its really your own personal preference, however I went for the Ek9 due to it being a true race orientated car, it is basically a fully road going race car !! Plus it belongs to the Red badged Type-R family !! I have owned many VERY powerful jap cars, Impreza Sti's - Pulsar Gti-R's - 200sx etc etc and nothing has put a bigger smile on my face than the ek9. It just feels so good to drive, and it is also soooo underated - many people in my country dont even know what it is !!! lol just a few weeks ago I was out in town with my car, I heard a shout from one of the shop doors saying look at that idiot, he has put type r stickers on a normal civic !!! haha. Unless its an EP3 many people belive its not a type r !!!

I also had a breif encounter with a Focus Rs down a (private) :naughty: road !! haha and after I handed his ass to him he pulled over and said "that thing is soo fast" my reply was yeh its not bad for a N/A 1.6 !!! haha he was in dis-belief - how can it be, its got serious power !!! I told him yeh its not bad, just how mr Honda designed it to be !!

Thats my views anyways - alot more stories with people not beliving its 1.6 !! - sierra cosworths - m3's etc etc

I've driven both, stock vrs stock, the ek9 obviously has better handling + more power, and the ek9 is a type r, hehehe, anyways I really like the eg6, but I prefer the ek9, I'll consider a eg6 for daily drive, or drag racing !
 
i like both cars but the eg cant compare to the 9...but i prefer eg coupes to hatches....iv owned an eg6 a long time ago an liked it but i bought the 9 an love it but now i own a eg coupe wit a b18c5(that me an it had a disagreement)
 
i own both right now,obviously the ek9 is better but with a b18 in the eg6 the 9 would not look at it in a straight line!
 
forgot to put a photo of my eg up so here it is,has 15"volks(my fav rims)ep3 red recaro and hks exhaust etc.

he he lol,not as nice as the 9,i have owned 4 eg6's to date, 2 ek4's a supercharged ek9 and now have the eg and my black 00 rx,aswell as having had 2 st205'gt4's 2 mr2 turbos 3 pulsar gtirs 2 crx sirs lol and the odd starlet glanza.the ek9 is the best all round tho.
also got a jun tuned evo 4 coming soon!

i've ridden a friend's modded EG6 (converted) & it's nowhere near the EK9, the EK9 drives like a dream, in stock form it's already enough to satisfy most corner carvers like me. the EK9 is the only FWD car that has ever excited me this much (2nd only to my 600RR) when it comes to handling.

EG HB are very common over here & i am not the guy who is the mainstream type.
