I serviced my EK9 today and after a short drive (no Vtec) the engine check light has come on, strange thing is I left it to cool down for 10 mins or so and drove back home; the light didn't come back on...

Now the service consisted of :

New plugs
Oil + Filter change
Dizzy Cap
Air filter

The car drives perfectly and certainly feel healthy after the service! No signs of smoke or it lacking in power!
What things could I check over (sensors etc) if this comes back on whilst driving??

Cheers
Ryan

co2 sensor is located near the CAT isn't it?

Not too sure about how to check the fault codes Lee as I'm still learning the basics atm, I take it this requires diagnostic software linked to the obd port?

Really easy all you will need is a paper clip. Look up under the dash near to the ecu and you will see a green rubber holder with 2 plugs in it (3 wire and 2 wire plugs). Short out the 2 wire plug, turn ignition on count engine light flashes. Long flash = 10, short flash = 1.
